A Bit About Our Founder
Alexa Barrios
As a Software Quality Engineer with experience in the medical device and healthcare industries, Alexa has always been enthusiastic about problem-solving, providing creative solutions, and breaking software (for the greater good).
She obtained her Master’s degree in Bioengineering at the University of Tokyo with a focus in breast cancer research, motivated by her tenure as a radiation therapist. Along with her conversational Japanese, she is also fluent in Spanish, ISTQB-certified, and writes fiction in her spare time.
After having worked in both fast-paced startups and global organizations, Alexa launched Dot & Dash with the hopes of helping small- and mid-size businesses simplify software testing and documentation processes with reliable, detail-driven support.
